Our first home before & after

Ok, this may be the most exciting blog post I've shared thus far. In May, Daniel and I closed on our first home! When we first toured our house, a 1970's ranch, we enjoyed the layout, neighborhood, and big backyard. We intended to make some cosmetic updates but didn't set out to renovate it, but as you can see from the before and after pictures- she's renovated!

I am so, so excited to share these photos. Being the blogger I am I took before photos and just took the afters today. (I somehow missed the bathroom, that will be another post I suppose!). Before we go any further I have to share the immense thanks we owe to our family and friends who supported us in this process. We seriously, seriously would not be here without them. Their knowledge, helping hands, and encouragement was invaluable to this process.

Without further adieu.... before and afters!

It's still a work in progress, as is the nature of homeownership, and there are a lot of things we still need to do. Seeing these pictures makes me so joyful as it's clear we have come so far. This is just a peek, and I will surely be sharing lots of house projects and photos here in the future. I am so proud and excited for what Daniel and I, along with many loved ones, have been able to accomplish and turn this house into a home we dearly love.
