Snapshot of June Adventures & Visits

Hello dear friends! I hope you are well and enjoying summer.

I haven't posted lately because Daniel and I have been away from home visiting friends and family for the last two weeks. We have just returned to our apartment and are readjusting to our mellow summer in Hermiston.

It was a really pretty amazing two weeks. So much happened!

We went on a beautiful climbing hike in the Columbia Gorge.

I saw my sister-in-law graduate from high school and celebrated her accomplishments and future.

We spent a day with my dad exploring caves and waterfalls near Mt. St. Helens. I love my dad's adventurous, up for anything spirit.

I spent a sunny morning with my mom, aunt, and Grandma at our favorite coffee shop in my old hometown, just chatting and enjoying each other's presence.

We shared many meals with our parents, family members, and friends. Precious times of catching up, lingering, just being together.

I stood by one of my dearest friends as she became a wife, and spent a lovely evening celebrating their beautiful, grace-filled love story.

We spent several priceless days with my sister and her family. We played trains and construction with our sweet, funny nephew and I held our happy, peaceful baby niece.

I feel so fortunate for all of the wonderful people in my life. I am so thankful for the richness of relationships with others. For being able to travel all up and down Oregon (and a bit of Washington) to see so many loved ones. I'm so grateful for the pace of life my husband and I have, and that I get to do this all with him. I am thankful for the peace the Lord gave me which helped me to have a better attitude than usual during this long time away from home! And at the end of all this visiting and excitement, I am joyful to return to our apartment and our life here, and rest.
