Dundee Wine Tasting

In October I spent a wonderful day wine tasting in Dundee with two of my close girlfriends.
I've come to realize I really love wine tasting. Not just because of the wine.

Wine tasting is such an experience of beauty.
Beautiful, rich and peaceful settings,
complex, beautiful flavors with depth and interest
surrounded by laughter and conversation to celebrate beautiful relationships.
Any day spent with the girls is wonderful, but I think wine tasting has to be one of my new favorite things to do with friends.
There's a quote that says "friends, like wine, get better with age".
I've known Tayleranne (in the middle) for eight years, and Brittany (on the right) for five.
I have been so fortunate to call these women my friends through college and beyond.
I am so blessed that God has put me in close physical proximity to them now!

For the day I wore ankle booties, dark jeans, and a drapey white sweater. I had some fun mixing patterns with this Fossil purse and lattice mustard top. I think the patterns work together because they are both very fall.
I accessorized with this great statement necklace from Target. I tried a dark lip for the day, which is not my usual, but wine tasting felt like the perfect occasion.
We split a delicious steak salad and a margherita pizza at Red Hills Market, then visited Argyle Winery and Zerba Winery.
We had such a fun time.
We also made a stop at Babica Hen to indulge in some insanely good nachos and artichoke dip before heading home.
It was a beautiful day with beautiful friends!

    1. Yes, Babica Hen brunch is amazing!! I once did a split waffle with half peanut butter, chocolate, and banana, and half an awesome pulled pork waffle. It was soooo good.

  4. I agree that in addition to the wine itself, the beauty of the vineyards and wineries are so enjoyable on their own!
