Saturday Market & Early Summer Style

I am relaxing into the rhythm of simple summer days. I'm enjoying falling into habits like sleeping in a little, plentiful reading, and taking time for "just because" creative and relaxing activities. Having some spare time makes room for meandering the Saturday Market and wandering into a few local shops.

While living in Eastern Oregon the last three years, I noticed that the area jumped right into summer. It was sunny and above 80 degrees most June days. Now that I'm back in Western Oregon, I am remembering the slow shift to summer I grew up with. June is a bit shy, bright, hot sunny days are followed by cloudy skies.

As summer weather slowly comes, I am getting creative with my wardrobe to create cool, casual summer looks while staying weather appropriate. I picked up this blouse for a huge bargain at JC Penney in the spring, this fun neckline has been so popular this year. I paired it with some summery light wash jeans, and neutral slip-on espadrilles. These are BOBS brand from Costco, they are insanely comfortable and a great bargain. Costco had black and tan, I had a hard time choosing but ultimately went with tan.

These fun beaded earrings add some bohemian style.

I am loving getting lots of quality time with this handsome guy this summer (in his variety of bird shirts).
