Burgundy & Bricks

Weird things bloggers do: drive around town looking for a brick wall.

I found one. I felt like a brick wall was a must to highlight the gorgeous burgundy turtleneck sweater dress. It's from Fred Meyer's clothing line Dip. I tried in on when I checked out the brand earlier this year, and just bought it on sale. I kept it classic with black leggings, ankle booties, curls, and a coordinating moody lip. I'm thinking future stylings may include leopard, a denim jacket, and a top knot. I'd love to find a way to wear this dress with sneakers too to really mix it up.

  1. Bloggers are definitely notorious for finding locations to shoot at! I told myself I should just buy a background and be done with it but then I kind of like scouting for locations too. Love your burgundy sweater dress. It has a beautiful color and it is such a classic piece this time of year. Not only are they easy to wear but they are so versatile. I am excited for all the possibilities! You look great!

  3. I've never driven around looking for a brick wall before - my aging hippie wardrobe (as my kids call it) requires neither photographing nor brick wall - but I have done a lot of equally weird things in the name of blogging over the years.
